David Arquette: Still Breathless Before 'Dancing With the Stars' Performances

Things are looking up for David Arquette. The Dancing With the Stars hopeful took home his highest score of the season with his week 5 Tango. But while the judges are finally starting to consider him a contender, he remains a tad nervous.
"I wind myself up so much that I can hardly breath sometimes," Arquette said backstage. "I'm starting to put the pieces together, and it's becoming easier."
Getting praise from judge Carrie Ann Inaba on his increased sense of confidence, Arquette says that has a lot to do with his increasing comfort on the show.
"It's a real confidence thing," he said. "You have to be calm and confident and know what you're doing and do it with passion and commitment.... be devoted to it."
With the exit Carson Kressley, you have to hope Arquette will remain devoted to comic relief. Partner Kym Johnson said he spent most of last week's rehearsals speaking almost exclusively with a British accent. It helped him perfect his impression of Len Goodman, which he debuted during the show.
So who's next on his list? "I can't do a Bruno," Arquette said of the most of effusive judge. "I'm going to work on a Bruno."
He'll also be working on a Quickstep. That's the dance he and Johnson will tackle during the week 6 Broadway theme. The duo offered few clues as to what viewers can expect, only promising a 180-degree turn from '80s week.
"It's basically going to be the exact opposite of this," Johnson said, pointing at their leather ensembles.
