Before the April premiere of Scream 4, there was lots of chatter about how this would serve as the first chapter in a brand new trilogy. Seems this financial disappointment, paired with the exodus of original screenwriter Kevin Williamson have served as the final two nails in this franchise's coffin.
"There have been no conversations about Scream 5," David told Insider.com Saturday night at the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center's 40th Anniversary Gala, where David presented DWTS buddy Chaz Bono with the Board of Directors award.
But all hope is not lost since David says, "I love playing the role of Dewey, so I would always be open to doing it again especially since I love working with Wes Craven, but I don't think that's gonna happen."
