David Arquette working with the Short Film Glutton

David has signed on to direct the 3D psychological thriller "Glutton" for Remember Dreaming Prods.

Kenny Yakkel ("Dead Air") wrote the script, which is described as being in the vein of "Misery."

Stan Spry and Cameron Larson are producing along with R. Scott Reid, Steve Ecclesine and Norween Yakkel, while Arquette will exec produce through his Coquette Prods.

"David is the perfect person to direct "Glutton." He brings invaluable assets to the project including his visual style, creative flare, and ability to relate to the cast," said Spry.

The 3D pic is scheduled to start production in July in Canada.

Arquette is a veteran TV helmer who previously directed the horror flick "The Tripper" and the 3D short "The Butler's in Love." He reprises his role as Dewey Riley in "Scream 4," which The Weinstein Co. releases on April 15.
